Adalid (“Addy”) Corsello has worked with Polatsek, Counsellors At Law since January 2012. Ms. Corsello initially was hired as our receptionist, but is now one of the Firm’s outstanding paralegals.
Although Ms. Corsello recently graduated with an Associate of Science degree in Legal Assisting from Broward College, she is continuing with her educational goals of now obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is the first member of her family to obtain a college education. Her personal path to residency and ultimately, citizenship, all stem from the desire to pursue a college education.
Mrs. Corsello immigrated to the United States from her native Mexico when she was she was only four years of age. She is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish, and has personally experienced the immigration process. She is extremely compassionate and thoroughly enjoys assisting our clients through the complex immigration process.
Ms. Corsello assists the attorneys at Polatsek, Counsellors at Law with all types of immigration cases. Ms. Padilla works on immigrant and non-immigrant cases; on petitions and applications to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (formerly INS), the National Visa Center, the Department of Labor and the National Benefits Center. Specifically, on preparing employment-based cases (H, O, P, R, and L visas), investor visas, and labor certifications, Student and Training applications, Adjustment of Status to permanent resident and for family-based cases.
Aside from working with clients, working with technology and implementing new organizational methods in the office to make processes simple and easy for everyone is what she likes best about her job.
Ms. Corsello is currently married and resides with her husband in South Florida. Working full time and attending school part time in the evenings, she tries to her best to maintain a well-rounded life. Ms. Corsello has many interests including sports, reading, gardening, baking, music and dance.
