Ms. Fabiana Rodriguez has worked at Polatsek, Counselors at Law since August 2013. Ms. Rodriguez was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Manhattan College. She was also awarded an Associate’s degree in Legal Assisting from Broward College. She is a NALA Certified Paralegal and an active member of the Broward College Paralegal Studies Advisory Board.
Ms. Rodriguez was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and immigrated with her family to the United States at the age of five. Ms. Rodriguez grew up in Queens, New York and currently resides in South Florida with her husband and two children. She is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
Ms. Rodriguez assists the attorneys at Polatsek, Counsellors at Law with all types of immigration cases. She works on immigrant and non-immigrant cases; preparing and processing petitions and applications to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (formerly INS), the National Visa Center, the Department of Labor and the National Benefits Center. Specifically, on preparing employment-based cases (H, O, P, R, and L visas), investor visas, and labor certifications, Student and Training applications, Adjustment of Status to permanent resident and for family-based cases.
Ms. Rodriguez has a background in Real Estate law and decided to change her career path in order to follow her passion in immigration law. She is sympathetic to the concerns and fears of our clients and strives to make the process for each client a simple and smooth experience.
Ms. Rodriguez enjoys reading, writing, music, and attending soccer games with her children, and aspires to learn a third language. She plans to continue her studies and one day obtain a teaching position.
