Ms. Maria E. Gonzalez has worked at Polatsek, Counsellors-at-Law since August 2015. She comes from a combined background with her mother from Puerto Rican descent and her father, born in Santiago, Chile, who came to the U.S. back in the 1970’s.
Ms. Gonzalez prepares and processes petitions and applications to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the National Visa Center, the Department of Labor and the National Benefits Center, including Treaty Trader and Investor visas (E-1 and E-2 visas), professional employment visas (H-1B and L-1 visas) as well as O, P and Religious-Based (R-1) visas. As a fluent bilingual (English/Spanish) paralegal, she thrives to provide exceptional and professional services to our clients and takes pride in the value of her relationship with our clients.
Ms. Gonzalez began working in the legal field a decade ago and was eager to explore the legal aspects of immigration law. Her motivation and aspiration to serve those facing immigration issues allows her to understand the sensitivity of each case.
Ms. Gonzalez is the middle child of 3 girls. She enjoys traveling, soccer, football, cooking, and fishing, but most importantly, spending valuable time with her family, especially her “Abuelita”.
