Ms. Noris Escudero has worked at Polatsek, Counsellors At Law since January 2012. Ms. Escudero was awarded an Associate’s degree in Legal Assisting from Broward College.
Ms. Escudero was born in Venezuela and arrived in the United States at the age of six. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She excels at providing excellent service and is diligent in producing exemplary work for her clients. Ms. Escudero is a hard worker, organized, and highly values the relationship with her clients.
Ms. Escudero assists the attorneys at Polatsek, Counsellors at Law with preparing and processing petitions and applications to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (formerly INS), the National Visa Center, the Department of Labor and the National Benefits Center, including Treaty Trader and Investor visas (E-1 and E-2 visas), Professional employment visas (H-1B and L-1 visas) as well as O, P and Religious Based (R-1) visas. Ms. Escudero also has experience related to employment based and family based immigrant visa petitions including Adjustment of Status to permanent resident and for family-based cases, applications for permanent labor certification (PERM), and petitions for immigrant visas for all classifications including EB-1 extraordinary ability, EB-2 advanced degree, and EB-3 professional or skilled workers.
Ms. Escudero changed career paths and was determined to pursue her passion in immigration law. She began working in the legal field following more than a decade of work in banking and retail management positions. Her customer service and communication skills prepared her for working with clients facing immigration issues. Ms. Escudero is a motivated individual and, with her background as a Customer Service Manager, she understands the sensitive and delicate matters of cases.
Ms. Escudero is the youngest of five siblings. Recently married, she enjoys traveling with her husband and seeks new adventures. Ms. Escudero takes pleasure in designing and painting her home, dancing, cooking, and reading.
